Minnehaha Falls sounds like ha ha ha and it is. It is a 53 foot high water/snow fall. You can choose water or snow as per the time you are visiting this marvelous art of God. I have been to numerous waterfalls but this was the first snowfall I have seen in life. You can actually go to the backside of this fall and see the snowcaves. These cave gives you iglooo effect, so that you can have 0 °C (32 °F) or warmer inside.

We planned for this fall, jump started car and in half hour we were there inside the snowfall. I must say its a risky but worth falling in this snowfall. There are 2 parts of this fall, first is the down side, where you can take pictures and is easy to reach except the center part of the fall which is separated. You can go in the center, but its a bit tricky to come out.

The second and more exciting part is the hike on the fall, its slippery and rissky, but worth taking. You can climb on the sides of the fall and go to the backside to see the water/snow fall from behind the scene. The most amazing thing is you can slide down from a small opening and enjoy the fun. It may hit you on the bum, but its worth.

Whatever I write, I wont be a able to give you the fun that we had there, but if you are in Minnesota, you should give it a try. Everyone goes in summer, but you should try it in Winter. Thats the fun.
